MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY

by jquejque

Decided to break down Day 4 in Vancouver into separate blog posts. Sorry, I have a tendency to take too many pictures… We also kind of ran out of time, so Day 4 was super busy!

Visited the Museum of Anthropology on the University of British Columbia campus. As an art history/anthropology major, this museum was a true delight. (A little part of me wishes I could attend UBC haha!)

Taiwanese artist Chiu Yu-Wen and his Water Faeries Reproduction. The sight of this took my breath away! My photos most definitely do not do this exhibit justice. The attention to details in the “water faeries” probably made this my absolute favorite.

Another exhibit in the (IN)visible: The Spiritual World of Taiwan Through Contemporary Art. Unfortunately I forgot to snag the name of the artist… Sorry…

Pulled Pork Poutine at La Belle Patate

No trip to Canada is complete without poutine right?! Devoured this plate before continuing on with the second half of our last day. (This was really just the morning haha…)

More to come very soon! Thanks for tuning in!
